Ayalaland: Amaia--The home for everyone
Real estate developer Ayala Land knows its market. In fact, it is so familiar with the needs of the various socioeconomic classes that it created specific companies to cater to every budget, mindset and way of life. There’s Ayala Land Premier for the well-heeled clientele, Alveo Land for the urban achievers and Avida Land for modern families.
The most recent addition to the conglomerate’s portfolio is Amaia Land, aimed at the working class. The new company, established in 2010, provides affordable homes in emerging locations in the country that boast the quality and reputation of an Ayala Land brand, reinforcing their commitment to the community via residence options that complement and enrich different lifestyles.
Official statements indicate that “Amaia’s first year alone has largely enhanced [Ayala Land’s] overall brand lineage when it opened Amaia Scapes,” its maiden project. Amaia Scapes is a house and lot development in key provincial cities that are integrated into or juxtaposed with centers of trade activities and major transportation hubs. The project includes locations in Calamba (Laguna), Northpoint, Talisay (Negros Occidental), Cabanatuan (Nueva Ecija) and General Trias (Cavite).
This year, the broad-range property company launched two more projects, Amaia Steps and Amaia Skies, a foray into the vertical development sector. This, they say, is their way of “responding to the market’s need for space within and around city limits.” The condominiums will “offer the most affordable, yet high-quality, living to every Filipino low-medium income earner.” As with Amaia Scapes, the properties are conceived to be environmentally sustainable and aesthetically fresh and contemporary.
Amaia Steps, perfect for newlyweds starting a family and early nesters, is located in Novaliches. The four-hectare piece of land will be built with 20 five-story buildings and an amenity building, clustered strategically to maximize privacy, security, natural lighting and ventilation. Features include landscaped open spaces, a club house, swimming pool, basketball court and playground. Each unit has a 30-square meter area.
Amaia Skies, on the other hand, is a highrise project in Cubao. Three towers will be built to add to the bustling city-center’s skyline, primarily catering to single professionals who enjoy the metropolitan life. Three unit configurations are available—Studio, Bedroom and Garden—giving residents the opportunity to express their individuality through their homes’ layout. This also affords small and young families with limited resources to live right in the middle of the city.
With Amaia, having an Ayala Land home is now possible for everyone. Flexible payment schemes with low monthly amortization and special discounts are offered. This makes an Amaia residence ideal for individuals and growing families with a combined monthly income of as low as P20,000.
With the goal of elevating the lives of every Filipino and “empowering modest income earners to finally realize their dream homes, Amaia Land follows the Ayala Land tradition of giving buyers their money’s worth. The properties are constructed by Ayala Land’s own building company, Makati Development Corporation. Homeowners are assured of a one-year warranty on workmanship and materials. Once completed, the developments’ management and maintenance will be turned over to Ayala Property Management Corporation. Ed Biado
